Test Floor Expansion

Jordan Transformer is pleased to announce that we are expanding and upgrading the facility’s test capabilities.
The million dollar project will include a completely new test floor with the addition of 1 Mega-Volt impulse generator, a 300KVA/180Hertz generator with corona monitoring equipment, and a 300 KV hi-pot transformer. Loss measurement and heat-run capabilities will also be expanded.
The project is scheduled to be completed by June 2006 and will greatly improve the plant’s goal of continuous quality improvement and will expand the shop’s capabilities in class II transformer repair up to 650 BIL.
